Chanelle was born in Washington state and grew up there in a small farming town, located just between Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. Being from a small town was all a part of what helped her discover her love for being outdoors and for watching nature take its own special course. In this small world of hers, she loved being the second oldest of seven children. Getting to help take care of new siblings as they came along, learning how to help mom and dad around the house at an early age and even getting to attend some of the younger siblings births' at an early age, is all something Chanelle holds very dear and close to her heart. After graduating from High School, Chanelle moved to Portland, Oregon and began her search for what would be fulfilling to her as a 17 year old. From working at a bridal shop, to coffee shops, a flower shop and then working for a small organization (for what would be 15 years), she learned many things about working as a team and what it means to truly listen to those she worked with to better herself and the outcome of any type of project or situation. Not having children of her own, she has been able to love on and care for many of her sisters' and friend's new little ones as they have come into the world and as they've grown. Chanelle has been given the chance and opportunity to share in the joys of being at multiple of her close friend's labor and deliveries and counts them as some of her most prized moments. Hobbies and skills of Chanelle's range from being able to care for, listen to and understand little ones, to having deep empathy and holding space for all ages of adults. What feeds her soul most is gardening, working the soil and being in nature; listening to the wind and soaking up the sun. Chanelle has a young golden retriever and they spend many hours outside together during each special season.
